All rings purchased through Laura Preshong come with one complimentary re-sizing, should you need it, within 90 days of email notification that your piece is ready for pick up or is Out for Delivery. You can schedule a drop-off appointment to bring your ring into the Boston showroom for re-sizing, or to have one of our team check the fit. If you are shipping your ring to us for sizing, contact us for a resizing number. The resizing number helps use keep track of items that come in that my not have sufficient info inside the box. To request your free ring sizing gauge shown above email us your name and shipping address and we will U.S. mail you the complimentary sizing tool. Pro Tip: If you are ordering a band that is narrower than the ring sizer gauge, minus 1/4 size from the size obtained with the sizer.
Should a piece of your jewelry meet with an accident, wear down over time and need a little refresh, or maybe just some routine maintenance like a complimentary prong check and cleaning, we are ready to assist! Just follow the directions on this page to either drop off in the Boston showroom or ship.
Resizing and repair take 15 business days (3 Weeks) plus shipping time to complete. Just follow the information under repairs to return your item to us. We will assess the repair, provide the quote and notify you when your ring is ready to return and send your tracking number. The client is responsible for shipping the ring to us and we recommend using a carrier with reliable tracking. Return shipping 30.00 via FedEx Express 2-Day, signature required. Check with your insurance provider to be sure your ring is insured for loss for incoming and outgoing shipping or contact us to add return shipping insurance to your package.
Securely package your jewelry piece, ship it in a box(not a padded envelope), and send via Fed Ex, UPS or a similar carrier with tracking capabilities to Laura Preshong 558 Tremont Street Boston MA 02118. Do not mark your package as containing jewelry or valuables. Include your order number, the full name of the person who placed the order, your return shipping address, and the size you need or repair required. Be sure your ring is insured. You do not need to include any diamond certificates or gift boxes.
